ANTIOXIDANTS/ STABILIZERS

(phenol & phosphite types)

Hindered phenols are radical scavengers which prevent thermal degradation of many organics and polymeric materials. Its effectiveness increases in combination with secondary antioxidants such as phosphites.

Phosphites are excellent peroxide decomposers, halogen acceptors and masking agents. Phosphites provide good heat stability, color stability, process stability and weatherability to polymers.

HALOGEN NEUTRALIZE AGENT

(Calcium stearate)

High quality calcium stearate acts as halogen scavenger during extrusion of Polypropylene to prevent discoloration of resin due to high temperature.

ANTIBLOCKING AGENT

(Synthesis Silica)

Anti-blocking agents prevents layers of polymer films from sticking together – known as "blocking" in the industry. Anti-blocking agents also enhance surface structure of films resulting in improved scratch-resistance. Anti-blocking agents are non-toxic, synthetic amorphous silica gels with purity exceeding 99%.

SLIP AGENT

(oleamide and erucamide)

Slip agents additives add a lubricating layer and provide excellent bloom control and secondary mold-release in polyolefins and engineering polymers. These products provide lubricity, chemical and thermal stability and melting ranges that find useful applications to solve a variety of technical challenges.

These additives terminate free radical chain reactions and prevent oxidation degradation without affecting other properties of the fuel.

POUR POINT DEPRESSANTS FOR FUEL

(Malanstyrene Esters/ Ethylene vinyl acetates)

These additives are polymers designed to interfere with the higher hydrocarbon crystallization process, thus modifying their crystal structure. The change in the crystal shape diminishes their ability to aggregates/ inter grow and inter lock, resulting in lowering the pour point of the fuel.

(Acrylates/ / Maleates and Fumarates )

These additives are polymers designed to interfere in the higher hydrocarbon crystallization process, thus modifying their crystal structure. The change in the crystal shape diminishes their ability to aggregates/ inter grow and inter lock, resulting in lowering the pour point of the heavy fuel.

CORROSION INHIBITORS

(Imidazoline based)

These additives get adsorbed on the metallic surface at a temperature which exceeds 210ºC, protecting the metal surface by forming a film, giving the surface a great level of protection.

CORROSION INHIBITOR AND LUBRICITY ENHANCER ADDITIVES

(FOR FINISHED FUELS)

These additives are effective in providing corrosion protection to pipelines, tanks and equipments to transport and store gasoline, diesel, ethanol, heating oils and Aviation fuels. These, also help in providing lubricity enhancement to all finished fuels including jet fuels.

CETANE IMPROVERS

(2-Ethylhexyl Nitrate)

These additives are used to substantial increase the diesel Cetane number. These additives improve the ignition performance and also reduce diesel vehicle emission.

LUBRICITY IMPROVERS FOR DIESEL

(Acid type/ Ester type)

These additives impart lubricity to the diesel which gets lost due to removal of natural occurring lubricity components while removing sulfur content from the crude.

OCTANE BOOSTERS

(Non-metallic)

These additives improve the Octane rating/octane number of the Gasoline. The higher the octane number, the more compression the fuel can withstand before detonating. Fuels with a higher octane rating are used in high-compression engines that generally have higher performance.

PPD for Biodiesel

(Acrylates / Maleates and Fumarates/ polymethacrylates )

These aid in prevention and modification of wax crystallization in biodiesels to ensure trouble free winter operations. These lower the pour point and improve pumpability of the biofuel.
10 ANTIFOULING AGENTS This product prevents coking and scale-forming in the feedstock heat exchangers of gasoline and diesel hydrotreating units, improves the heat-transfer effect of the heat exchangers, and hence prolong the working cycle of the processing units.
11 SLUDGE BREAKERS These additives rapidly dissolve and fluidize sludge, wax, gum and tar formations while effectively separating water from oil/water emulsions.

III. Acid Gas Absorbents (Amine)

Viet Engineering is the exclusive authorized distributor of Evonik Performance Material GmbH to promote the new generation of amine serving for acid gas (CO2, H2S, SOx) removal – Caplus® - in Vietnam. Caplus is patented since 2010 and has been commercializing for many application in Biogas, Natural Gas, Flue Gas and Syngas.

Compared with current acid gas adsorbent, Caplus has many advantages and bring a high added value for the end-users. Evonik successfully applied Caplus for some countries in Asia.
